FAQ

Answered, honestly.

What is SwatchBharath?
SwatchBharath is a session-driven digital swatchbook for textile fabric suppliers and their clients. Suppliers curate fabric collections, run physical or online review sessions on a tablet, and finalize selections with a clear paper trail.
Who uses SwatchBharath?
Fabric mills, textile agents, and fashion houses across India — Surat, Tiruppur, Bhiwandi, Erode, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Bengaluru and beyond — together with the buyers, designers, and merchandisers they sell to.
What is a 'session'?
A session is a curated review event between a supplier and a client. It can be physical (split-screen on a showroom tablet) or online (a shareable link). Both modes support real-time like, shortlist, finalize, and notes.
How is this different from sending photos on WhatsApp?
WhatsApp loses context. SwatchBharath keeps every decision — like, shortlist, finalize, reject, and notes — permanently attached to the swatch and to the buyer, with timestamps. You also generate a pull list for the warehouse instead of guessing at the end.
Can clients see all our fabrics?
No. Clients only see the collections you've explicitly attached to their session. The rest of your catalogue stays private.
Does it generate AI garment mockups?
Yes. SwatchBharath uses on-platform AI to render any swatch as a garment mockup (kurta, shirt, saree, etc.) so clients can see the fabric in context before committing to a sample.
Do you support physical samples?
Yes. Each swatch has a physical ID. When a session is finalized, you generate a pull list with those IDs so the warehouse can pick the right cloth without guesswork.
What does it cost?
Starter is free forever. Studio is ₹4,999/month for active fabric houses. Mill plans are custom for multi-warehouse mills with 50+ buyers. All pricing is in Indian rupees, no foreign card needed.
Is my catalogue secure?
Your catalogue is yours. Permission-aware sharing means clients only see what you attach to their session. We never use your data to train models or share it with third parties.
Will it work on a 4G connection in the showroom?
Yes. SwatchBharath is built for showroom tablets and Indian mobile networks — image-light gallery, lazy loading, and offline-tolerant interactions where possible.
